Sanctuary is a Conjurer power: the 8th of the Sorcery discipline.
The conjurer creates an invulnerability zone. He will not be able to attack or be attacked, but he will be able to move. (Removes any positive effect that is active on the caster)

Notes
Despite the text "invulnerabilty zone" in the spell's description, this spell only affects the caster.
Most direct conjurer spells will work under sanctuary. Notably, Dispel Magic, Mass Dispel Magic, and Greater Regeneration will not work. However conjurers may cast Mana Pylon and Greater Healing under the effects of sanctuary.
Combined with Resurrect, a conjurer can go into dangerous areas to revive a fallen ally.
Note that Sanctuary will dispel positive buffs such as Arcane Devotion and Energy Barrier, but will not dispel negative effects such as damage over time spells.
Documented changes
- Version 1.0.7 (2009/7/20): Now has a 1.5s casting time. Duration reduced.
- Version 1.0.0 (2008/12/17): Now has a 0.5s casting time. Cooldown changed to 70 seconds.
- Version 0.9.35 (2008/9/4): Invulnerability is now canceled when interacting with a fort/castle flag or other dynamic object.
- Version 0.9.13 (2007/6/14): Now removes all buffs on the caster when cast.
