Notes

If Brain Piercing is cast on another player while they are casting a power, the spell will be canceled. It does not send the power into cooldown.

This power does not interrupt the attack cycle, and is thus unlike to actually be cast in time to cancel a spell. In theory, it would work well against Barbarians buffed with Unstoppable Madness popping out of a fort door to cast an area. Unfortunately, since the spell is not sent into cooldown, Brain Piercing is merely an annoyance.

Brain Piercing can be used effectively against the three realm dragons, Alasthor, Tenax and Vesper when they use Dragon Stomp. Attacking with Brain Piercing while the dragon is flying in the air can cancel the stomp. Unfortunately, since the skill is not sent into cooldown, it will probably just try again in a few seconds.
