Sudden Strike is a Archer power: the 2nd of the Tricks discipline.
 The archer attacks while the opponent is off guard. The target defenses are lowered.

Notes
Sudden Strike has a low mana cost and is the only Archer skill that reduces protection. It is a useful trick because of the surprising effect it has on knights, cutting their main defense to a half. It can also effectively counter "Defensive Stance".
Apart from that, given the fact it is such a cheap skill, it can be used to kill challenging and difficult creatures, whose protection is normally too high.
Sudden Strike will not work on players buffed with Divine Intervention
