"Ruins Of A Shipwreck" is a level 16 quest in the Ignis realm, given by Wedjan.
Story
The remarkable change in the appearance of this green landscape could not have happened in a natural way, and not even the most powerful of wizards could have done this. This is undoubtedly the will of the gods.
Legend has it that the life and growth that you see here happened after our great King Ataleon fell in the last great battle. It was said that when he fought the Igneos he slaughtered over 500 of those vile creatures before falling. It is said that as he lay on the ground about to pass on to meet the gods, an Igneo had the audacity to pick up his sword and impale Ataleon with his own sword. The legend goes on to say that when the sword hit Ataleon it burst into 4 pieces. No one really knows where the pieces are but it was known that the hilt held powers of life... some believe the hilt is in this area and is the cause of the growth you see all around you in this area.
The problem is that the legend attracts rogues from our realm as well as the other realms searching for the legendary hilt. Very regularly our ships are found to be ransacked... our sailors dead in their own ship, surrounded by supplies, on the same beach from which they left. Ridiculous indeed, but you can see it for yourself in the northeastern end of the beach.
We try not to let such nonsense be in vane, and so we recover as many items as possible. Of course, the creatures of the area intend the same. Go to the place and kill 12 Giant Beach Spider before they get what is left of the supplies.
