"Mob" can be thought of as standing for "Monster or Beast" (though this is actually a backronym; see Wikipedia for the origin of this term in computer gaming).
Killing a mob will award gold, scrap loot (like body parts, unsuable clothes, etc), randomly generated usable loot and experience (if its level is similar to the player's).
According to their nature mobs can be separated into the categories:
- Lesser Creatures
- Beasts
- Monsters
- Summons
Summons and ranged mobs cannot be tamed by hunters.
Bosses

- Champion
- Legendary
- Epic
