Alsius

Montsognir City, the capital of Alsius.

The cold and icy realm of Alsius, considered by many to be the most beautiful of all the nations, lies in the northern area of the world. It is inhabited by the Dwarves, Nordos (humans) and Utghars. The dwarves came to this land long ago, escaping from a moster snake that took over their native land. Here, they encountered the Nordos that fled the elven wars, and engaged in a brief war with them. However, soon after, they realized that they had similar goals and forged a strong alliance.

After that, they encountered the Utghars, who joined the alliance and together, they formed the Empire of Alsius. They built Montsognir City, capital of the inner realm.

Reasons for War

With its harsh climate, Alsius needs all the land it has to generate enough food for its inhabitants. When the Elven war between Ignis and Syrtis began, they didn't show much interest, at least not until border villages and markets began being attacked.

This matter greatly worried the emperor, who took his royal guard and ventured to the war zone, in order to find an Elven representative he could talk to. Unfortunately they got caught in crossfire, and the emperor was killed.

The people from Alsius now live with rage and indignation. They joined the war in order to stop their enemies from ravaging their lands. In their eyes elves cannot be trusted with goverments, so they will be defeated and their realms will be made a part of the Empire.
