"Abandoned Post" is a level 3 quest in the Alsius realm, given by Skolheim Village Class Trainers.
Story
Southeast of Skolheim is a guarding post manned by veteran soldier Wiland. He hasn't returned to the village for supplies in several days and your Trainer fears that he may have been attacked by wolves.
After investigating the guarding post, you discover Wiland's body. There is a Rusted Sword nailed to his chest, clear evidence that wolves were not responsible for his death. You take the Sword to your Trainer to ask what should be done next.
Your trainer informs you that in certain situations, usually the result of a violent death, a person's soul in incapable of traveling to the land of the ancestors and instead remains trapped in their body. The undead haunting the guarding post are the result of Wiland's trapped soul and are now a threat to the village.

Interact with Wiland Wiland, the poor fellow, is now just a skeleton lying in the snow.
