Items that can be equipped in Regnum Online include Weapons, Armour, Rings and Amulets. Equipment can be obtained from PvE combat drops, as rewards for quests, or from merchants in cities.

Durability

Equipment has a Durability score that gradually decreases as a player is hit in combat. Equipment must be repaired at a merchant, or with a Premium Content repair hammer before the durability score reaches zero, or the item is destroyed.

Quality

Equipment can be one of six qualities (in ascending order):

  1. Defective
  2. Worn
  3. Common
  4. Enhanced
  5. Superior
  6. Master

The quality of a piece of equipment cannot be improved through repair; it is an innate attribute of the item. The item's quality can impart a penalty (worn or lower) or bonus (enhanched or higher) during use. Common items have no penalty or bonus.

A defective or worn item can usually be equipped at lower level than if its quality had been common or higher (thus imparting some advantages of a higher level item in spite of the penalty).

Item Bonuses

Some items, such as the example pictures, have a bonus added to them. The bonus may be +Health, +Mana, +Stats e.g. Constitution / Dexterity, +Attack speed and +Damage resistance e.g. +2% Slashing resist. These can be gained from killing mobs, or trading with players.
