Burst of Wind is extremely effective against Mages with it's long duration, short cast time and range 0. Therefore, it is an excellent way to disable enemy conjurers, even those in the rear. Also, it is the Crowd Control skill with the longest range (up to 50-51 meters when buffed), which enables the Marksman to begin any fight with the advantage.
After patch 1.7.7 blunt damage has been removed. This doesn't allow this power to be cast on targets buffed with Divine Intervention anymore.
