Mages, and more notably warlocks, have very high mana consumption rates. A highly offensive mage will be in the need of more mana, and this is one of the spells that makes it possible. Ambitious Sacrifice is a Mage power: the 6th of the Mana Control discipline.

This spell can be recognized as little red lights that flow off the mage (hp), change colour to blue (mana), and then get sucked back in.
