The three magnifications are very good buffs for leveling mages. With long duration and fast cast the three can be activated practically simultaniously. This works when the objective is to level up with normal hits, beacause due to the mana consumption, it would be hard to mix this with other powers than buffs. When they are active, this powers add a different kind of damage to the staff one, they do not replace it.

Some players argue that the powers are only intended to be used one at a time, only with a staff of their same type, claiming the three altogether give mages too strong normal hits and an unfair advantage in war. However the high mana cost and the recasting do make them very hard to use in long battles.
