Passive powers are a very special kind. They provide a constant base improvement to one of the character's attributes. They cannot be deactivated, even by the player. Just having the skill in the spell book activates it, and each point spent makes it stronger. Due to the fact that they cannot be dispelled or stopped in any way, they don't give major boosts. However, many are quite useful.
Passive skills cannot be set in the spell bar.
