Story

Sigfrid said...

Well I don't believe my eyes. I knew that one day our paths would cross. I have heard a lot about you! Tales from afar tell me of a lone hero who travels throughout the land, battleing monsters, fighting through hordes of our enemies, and carving his way into history. Well it's all nonsense! I don't believe a word of it.

I am Sigfrid, one of the three chosen ones. I was chosen by the gods to lead my land to victory. I was destined to reach what I am now. Some believe there are others like myself who are destined to bring victory to Ignis. That is why I have a request for you. If you pass my test, then I will believe what I have heard about you.

For my first task, I want you to go to a friend of mine, take this Scroll to him. He will give you a tast I know worthy of my judgement.

Sigfrid said... Hmm? You have returned already? What did Sultar assign you? Finding a Dragon Scale? Tell me more about this. What? I see now he played you for a fool.

That Dragon Scale was never stolen from him; that Dragon Scale is Alexia's! I know because Alexia fights Orcs day and night in our own homeland. I have a matching Dragon Scale because that one if the other half of it. I am sure the Dragon Scale is gone by now. Forget my previous quest, this one is of much more importance, it will test you more throughly.

Go to Alexia and tell her what has happened...

Alexia said... What? Sigfrid? I haven't heard from in him a long time. He asked if anything was stolen from me? Well, yes, actually. Around last month, I lost my Dragon Scale fighting Orcs around here as I usually do. That Dragon Scale forms a pair with Sigfrid's. We received those Dragon Scale from long ago, when we fought the Dragons out of Old Altaruk.

Now I know why he sent you to me; he sees that you a hero. Maybe you are. But let's see. I want you to gather a party of your fellow soldiers. You will go to the Volcanic Zone, the scorched land of fire. There you will go and defeat the Dragon that rests there. Do not underestimate what lies ahead of you. I don't care what you have seen; this is the final test. May the gods be on your side...
