The first thing to have in mind is that this spell sends corpses to the save. This means it's an unnesesary waste of mana to use it somewhere near enemy altars. For example when attacking [[Samal Fort]] as a non Ignean character. On the other hand it's a good idea to use it on enemies when fighting in one's territory. This will force them to take the long run to come back, instead of waiting to be resurected. Also, if there are conjurers among the dead, priorize them. If the area is lost in a push, a ressed conjurer can help the first one, and you will get the enemy army in full strength faster.

Notes

Even though this power is easy to understand and use, one must give thought to the general situation. This spell does have a long cooldown, so targets must be picked carefully.

The first thing to have in mind is that this spell sends corpses to the save. This means it's an unnecessary waste of mana to use it somewhere near enemy altars. For example when attacking Samal Fort as a non Ignean character. On the other hand it's a good idea to use it on enemies when fighting in one's territory. This will force them to take the long run to come back, instead of waiting to be resurrected. Also, if there are conjurers among the dead, prioritize them. If the area is lost in a push, a ressed conjurer can help the first one, and you will get the enemy army in full strength faster.

Before this spell was introduced, sometimes players would not respawn, and instead spy on enemy activity. They could then chat to their companions about it or even worse, stay dead and just keep them informed with voice applications. If you notice an enemy not respawning for long, and the mana is expendable, cremate it.

Game history

This power was introduced into the game in version 1.0.6, along with the hunter power, Camouflage Corpse, adding the new game mechanic of cremating and hiding corpses. However neither class really wanted to spend points on these spells.

In version 1.0.7 of the game the cooldown was reduced from 90 to 80 seconds in an attempt to increase the spell's use [1].
