Be careful, this spell will not reduce the target's normal hits to 50%. To understand it, imagine that the enemie's weapon and additional damage bonuses (e.g [[Off with their Heads!!]]) will only add half the damage. But the str/int/dex bonus will still apply.
This spell reduces weapon bonus damage, not total damage. Weapon damage effects damage from weapons, jewelry, and spells that modify weapon bonus damage such as [[Berserk]] and [[Cold Blood]]. It does not affect intrinsic base damage derived from a character's attributes such as strength or dexterity.

This spell can significantly reduce the damage of [[Barbarians]], as they rely on very powerful weapons and buffs. However, it is not effective against other subclasses. It has a long casting time and cooldown, but it only lasts 20 seconds, making this skill not much worthy for any [[Warlock]].
At high levels, Laziness can significantly reduce the damage output of a character. It can be used effectively against barbarians during [[Unstoppable Madness]] who are invulnerable to [[crowd control]].

The short duration and long cooldown are disadvantages to this spell.

Notes

This spell reduces weapon bonus damage, not total damage. Weapon damage effects damage from weapons, jewelry, and spells that modify weapon bonus damage such as Berserk and Cold Blood. It does not affect intrinsic base damage derived from a character's attributes such as strength or dexterity.

At high levels, Laziness can significantly reduce the damage output of a character. It can be used effectively against barbarians during Unstoppable Madness who are invulnerable to crowd control.

The short duration and long cooldown are disadvantages to this spell.

Documented Changes:

  • Version 1.10.9 (2014/8/28): Increased debuff to -30% - -70% from levels 1-5.
