Notes
Beetle Swarm prevents the enemy from attacking, allowing the mage to cast expensive powers that may be too risky in normal situations, as well as dealing moderate piercing damage. This power is often used by conjurers who already use the mental discipline for their basic offense.
This power can be recognized by many small black orbs floating around the affected target accompanied by an audible buzzing sound.
Note that as of 1.6.3, the Barbarian skill Unstoppable Madness has a chance to resist Cannot attack spells.
