"Novice Training" is a level 3 quest in the Syrtis realm, given by Ilreah Village Class Trainers.

Story

This quest introduces you to mob difficulty ratings and teaches you about some of its effects.

Dardanh: Your new weapon won't be of much use without proper combat training. Gaeta will turn you into a lethal weapon in the battlefield.

Gaeta: Well, let's see what you're capable of. I prefer to test your skills here than to send you to certain death in the wild. Going out the west door, in the training field, you'll see some dolls that look like potbellied dwarves. Each dummy will be marked by a color that shows the difficulty that will imply defeating it.

Defeat the dummies and show me the ancestral inheritance running through your veins. Starting from the first one to the left, until the lastone on the right, you'll notice that the difficulty increments. You may have to use your powers to defeat the last ones.

Gaeta: Not bad, but those dwarves weren't hitting you back. Real dwarves are fierce fighters; it won't be easy to attack them while they try to get you in the head with a hammer the size of an anvil. You'll need all you got to defeat them.

Take these garments. They'll protect you both from predators and realm enemies.

Now that you can identify the enemies in your surroundings I think you are ready to help around the village. Listen to your brothers; they're who we fight for.
